MY BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

I am born and raised in Toronto. I have lived in the following neighbourhoods: Bayview Village, Bridle Path, Cricket Club, Davisville Village, Deer Park, Lytton Park, Moore Park, Willowdale, and Yorkville. My parents liked to move alot which is maybe why I became fascinated with real estate and neighbourhoods.

Following university I managed and published several community newspapers that served the following neighbourhoods: Forest Hill, Leaside, North Toronto, Rosedale and York Mills. Seeking new challenges, I left the newspaper business and joined the Ontario Tennis Association as their Director of Communications. As an avid tennis player with a passion for the sport, this was a dream job.

My real estate career began in 1992. From 1994 until 2005, I operated my own real estate brokerage called Maple Tree Realty. It was during this period that I published the Heritage Toronto award winning book Your Guide to Toronto Neighbourhoods and the sequel Your Guide to Toronto Suburbs.

A new chapter in my real estate career began in 2005 when I joined Royal Lepage Johnston & Daniel Division. This career move has enabled me to spend more time servicing my clients as well as allowing me more time with my family including my lovely wife Susan and our two children.

In 2006 and 2007 I qualified for the prestigious Gairdner Award, and in 2008 and 2009 I qualified for the Diamond Award placing me in an elite group with the top agents in my high profile office.
