Over the course of the past few weeks, we sold our North York home, and purchased a home in our dream neighbourhood, at Mount Pleasant and Lawrence. Our successful outcome in both buying and selling was directly attributable to Julie. On the selling end, we were impressed with her well-thought-out and well-executed plan, and her professionally-crafted feature sheets. It’s a testament to her excellent work that we were able to get $8,000 over our asking price, in a neighbourhood where bidding wars have tended to be few and far between. On the buying end, she helped us to navigate the maze of different neighbourhoods, and dispensed valuable advice on the various trade-offs between potential properties. We even managed to buy a house at Mount Pleasant and Lawrence for under asking, which doesn’t happen that often! Julie’s also a skilful negotiator, and I always felt that she was working on our behalf to get the best deal possible. She handled a few delicate situations that arose during the sale of our house with professionalism and aplomb. Her candour and honesty were always appreciated. In conclusion, my wife and I are ecstatic that we sold our home so quickly (and for such a great price!), and purchased a home in the area we wanted for a reasonable price. We owe that to Julie’s professionalism, knowledge, organization, and skilful negotiation.
